Shimmering Spring

A glorious evening, night and day out in the country at a friend's land. Mission: to hear the many birds sing at dawn and photograph the new spring green. A few birds were captured in pixel as well.

This photo was taken on one of the several wetland shallows (must admit we did go for a dip, beaver dams and all - only one slug attached!). The vibrant, shimmering green in the water, so freshly deep. What are those two pods of grass? I can't recall, they are just there now, innocent and present.
