Melting In Ice

Last Spring I took my first leaf on ice photo, made it look like a painting by manipulating I don't even remember now in iphoto (I use lighroom now) and many people enjoy it. This spring, I have taken many on the ice - they are so unusual, surviving leaves from the winter melting on the ice, becoming embedded as they melt down in the sun's attraction. This one was laying in a significant impression and then water froze over it , creating the beautiful bubbles. Does look like what it is?
